Setting Up Stripe Connect

Connect your bank account to receive ticket revenue directly.

Stripe Connect is how Band Account pays you. When a fan buys a ticket, the money goes directly to your connected Stripe account (minus the platform fee and Stripe processing fee). You control when to pay it out to your bank account.

How to connect

Follow these steps to complete Stripe Connect onboarding:

  1. 1In your band dashboard, go to Settings → Stripe Connect, or click 'Set up payments' from any show's Ticket Management page
  2. 2Click 'Connect with Stripe' — you'll be redirected to Stripe's secure onboarding flow
  3. 3Enter your business details: country, business type (individual or company), and your personal information for identity verification
  4. 4Add your bank account details so Stripe knows where to send payouts
  5. 5Submit the form and return to Band Account — setup is complete

Use 'Individual' as your business type if you're in a band without a registered company. Stripe accepts individual musicians.

How long does verification take?

Most accounts are verified instantly. In some cases Stripe may request additional documents (e.g. a photo ID), which can take 1–2 business days. You'll receive an email from Stripe if anything is needed.

Payouts

By default Stripe pays out to your bank account on a rolling 7-day basis. You can adjust your payout schedule in the Stripe Dashboard. Stripe sends a separate email when each payout is initiated.

Band Account does not store your bank details. All payment and banking information is held securely by Stripe.
