Creating Ticket Types

Set up General Admission, VIP, Early Bird, and other ticket tiers for your show.

Each show can have multiple ticket types — for example a cheap Early Bird tier, a standard General Admission tier, and a premium VIP tier. You control the name, price, quantity, and sale window for each.

Creating a ticket type

From the show's Ticket Management page, go to the Configuration tab and click 'Add ticket type':

  1. 1Enter a name (e.g. 'General Admission', 'VIP', 'Early Bird')
  2. 2Set the price in pounds. Enter 0 for a free ticket
  3. 3Set the quantity — how many of this type are available
  4. 4Optionally set a sale start and end date/time (useful for Early Bird windows)
  5. 5Click Save — the ticket type is immediately available on the public show page

Editing and deleting

You can edit any ticket type at any time. Changes to price or quantity apply immediately. Deleting a ticket type is only possible if no tickets of that type have been sold.

Sold ticket counts update in real time as purchases come in. The quantity field automatically enforces availability — fans cannot buy more tickets than remain.

Tips for pricing

Early Bird tiers work well with a sale end date. Set them to expire 2 weeks before the show and create a standard GA tier that activates at the same time.
