@mentions in chat

You can mention any band member in a chat message by typing @ followed by their name. They'll receive a notification and the message will be highlighted until they read it.

How to mention someone

1. Start typing @ in the message input

2. A dropdown will appear showing matching band members

3. Use the arrow keys or mouse to select the person

4. Press Enter or click their name to insert the mention

5. Finish your message and send it

How mentions look

Your mention appears as a highlighted name in the message (e.g. @James in blue). For the person mentioned, the message card shows a blue border and 'You were mentioned' label until they open the channel.

Mention notifications

Every @mention creates a notification in the Notifications section. You'll also see the blue highlight on the message in the chat itself. The highlight clears automatically when you view the channel.
