Band chat
Using channels, sending messages, and staying organised in band chat.
Band chat gives your band a real-time messaging space that's separate from personal messaging apps. Organise conversations into channels — one for general chat, one for setlists, one for booking, etc.
Creating a channel
- 1Go to Chat in the sidebar
- 2Click '+ New channel' in the channel list
- 3Give the channel a name (e.g. #booking, #setlists, #random)
- 4The channel is available to all band members immediately
Sending messages
Type your message in the input at the bottom of the chat and press Enter or click Send. Messages are delivered in real time.
Use channels to keep conversations organised. Put show booking in #booking and gear talk in #gear so the general channel stays clean.
